The 15-minute weekly review that sticks
A review ritual short enough to survive a bad week — and structured enough to actually change your next seven days.
Long reviews are cosplay. If your weekly review needs a color-coded checklist and an hour of courage, it will disappear the first week work gets hard.
Three passes, one page
Pass 1 — Close (5 min): Mark done as done. Delete tasks that no longer matter. Unfinished work either gets a new date or a kill decision.
Pass 2 — Choose (5 min): Pick three outcomes for next week. Not thirty tasks — three outcomes that would make the week a win.
Pass 3 — Clear (5 min): Empty capture inboxes. Reply to anything waiting on you. End with a desk (and inbox) that does not argue with Monday.
Automate the scaffolding
Your template should auto-surface: overdue tasks, tasks without a project, and projects with no activity in 14 days. You should never hunt for those — the dashboard hunts for you.
